"Hotel Garten is a cozy, exceptionally clean hotel with great restaurant and secure parking. They provided us with a great baby cot for our son. We left early so they made us a package for breakfast on the road which was extremely nice. I would love to go back there again!"

"We liked everything. A very special thank for the staff. Dur to very long waiting time at the border, I made the booking late in the night, we were allowed to check in much later than 00.00 and we were also offered breakfast after 9.30. All this was done with a smile and understanding: we felt welcomed and helped. It was a great feeling after a very tiring day. The hotel is a gem in itself. It is decorated in a vintage style that takes you a hundred years back. Beds are very comfortable. I could go on with what we liked. Either you arrive here unexpected, like us, or planned long time in advance, you will have an amazing experience."

"Our stay at Hotel Garten was an amazing experience. It’s a very beautiful place with its character, super clean and comfortable. Staff was absolutely fantastic, especially I would like to point out the girl who was supervising the breakfast. She was so so friendly and polite, asked us few times if we needed anything, offered to make some pancakes and hot chocolate for the kids, even brought a different coffee for my husband. And we were given a gift as a thank you for choosing to stay at their hotel- jar with honey 🍯❤️ we have stayed in a lot of hotels but this one stood out with their cosy- homey feeling and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so much for our enjoyable stay 🤍"

"The hotel is conveniently located with easy access from and to the highway. The hosts were really kind and welcoming. Flexible with arrival time. Breakfast was delicious and the attitude very kind. We will definitely use it again for our trips."

"The location was good as it was 10 mins to the highway. The room was clean, had air con, good shower pressure. Plenty of towels. We used the on site restaurant for dinner which was really nice food and local wine. Breakfast was included and was good value, buffet style. Cooked sausages, eggs fried, boiled, scrambled, poached. Bread, butter, jams, yoghurt, tea, coffee, fruit juices, fresh panne au chocolate, fresh fruits. After breakfast Maja young lady serving at breakfast with the owners wife who were both lovely and helpful, brought us a jar of local honey as a gift from the hotel. And packed up the 2 panne au chocolate we couldn't eat for our ongoing drive. The lady who was on duty at the e9vening meal was also lovely and friendly."

"The older gentleman who was the owner who checked us in was less welcoming, he was also on duty at the evening meal and when we saw him in the morning before leaving we smiled and said good morning and he totally blanked us. I understand we may all have bad days and personal issues, but he is not the best at customer facing/ front of house. I have also worked in the hospitality industry and no matter what is going on in your own life, your job is to make paying guests welcome."

"Me and my husband liked everything about this rustic, one of a kind hotel. Conveniently located for those traveling, with comfortable parking and spacious clean rooms. We loved the in house restaurant with the unique decor. The breakfast was lovely. The owners family gave us a jar of homemade honey as a parting gift, which was very thoughtful and we greatly appreciated."
