"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. "Large comfortable room. Good breakfast and dinners. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. In particular the brother of the manager who covered food, service and many other things. Along with another young man who did likewise, plus he did an excellent job of guiding us on a hike through Palm Gardens and Gorge Du Todra. When we were making our booking we enquired about access as we were planning a long trip with heavy luggage. We were told in advance that there is a steep path and stairs from the road but that we would have our luggage transfered for us by staff and Jack the donkey. On arrival and departure that was done by the staff and lovely healthy looking well cared for Jack. So our stay was overall very good."

The only things were the mounting bracket for the shower head in the bathroom faces the head straight out. No big problem for us as we just held it by hand. But some people may not be comfortable doing that and a new mounting bracket would be a good idea. The second thing was a leak from the pipe suppling the bathroom sink. Which meant that the bathroom floor away from the shower was wet and could be slippery. There was a floor blade left in the bathroom to use but the leak would not be a major job to fix so would be worth doing.

And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"We had a wonderful stay here at this accomodation. First: the adress. Is located in a veeery dreamy place, it seems like it is taken out from a fairytale: nature, snow, quiteness, just wonderful. Second: the accomodation itself. It is very beautiful, very very clean, very warm (we slept in light pijamas), very quiet. Third: the owners. They were extremely nice with us, they gave us advice for the northern lights, we chatted with them and they were very friendly and nice people. If i ever want to come back in rovaniemi, surely i will come back to this accomodation and i will reccomend it."

We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."
