"Lovely jamaican couple running a little Guest House just 5 min away from the beach. The highlight of the stay was the pool and the served food for dinner. I highly recommend eating at the Guest House! The rooms were spacious and nicely temperature thanks to the well working AC. If you looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay close to kokrobite, don't miss out on that one!"

When booking on here, It wasn't too clear about the extra cost of breakfast and also when we arrived, the receptionist told us what time this was but then when we came down for it the next morning, said we had not booked. Needs to be clear on check in and booked then. It would have perhaps been good to have been informed about the wedding taking place when we were there.

On the second day there was a slight smell in the bathroom but nothing too serious , a little plumbing will sort that out !

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

Access was an initial challenge as this was not automated so you cannot let yourself in and had to wait until someone respond to the telephone! A ringing doorbell at the gate or at the front door would be helpful!

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"Great location in the heart of the old town. The property also has a wonderful roof terrace which gives good views over the mosque and old town. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. Great sleep despite being in the centre of the old town (no traffic noise). Excellent value for money."

Possibly the size of the bathroom is a bit small, but that was my fault as I chose the single room.

From the very first moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome – everyone was so kind, friendly and attentive, which created a really warm and relaxing atmosphere. The views were absolutely beautiful and we could truly enjoy and admire them during our stay. It made the whole experience even more special. Both the dinner and the breakfast were delicious and the overall standard of the hotel was excellent. Everything was very well taken care of and we felt really comfortable throughout our stay. "Wonderful to be the only guests staying in the hotel, it felt special to have a chef come in to make our meals, which were very good. We had our dog with us sge was showing in a competition on site, she was welcomed and as we were the only guests she sat in the dining room with us. She was very relaxed and the next day came 1st in her Breed. We will return for another event soon."

Perhaps the bedroom could have been warmer.

They also were super helpful when my partner left his phone in a taxi from the airport- they got it back! The rooms were big, warm and clean, the shower was hot and the view was nice."

We arrived at midnight and the entrance is a dark scary looking carpark, the door is steel and we couldn’t work out how to get in. The hostel is on the 4th floor so good idea to get a SIM card (free from airport) and call when you arrive if you get stuck. A helpful man in the carpark helped us get in which was so lucky. We would stay again, next time we’ll know how to get in!

It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.
