Pillarbox Cottage er stofnaður í enduruppgerðri hlöðu sem er á minjaskrá og býður upp á fullbúið eldhús, mikla lofthæð og upprunalega viðarbjálka frá 17. öld. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði í sameiginlega steinlagða húsgarðinum. Svefnherbergið er aðgengilegt um hringstiga og er með gaffalt sjóndeildarhringur yfir Riber-kastala og enda með sýnilega upprunalega viðarbjálka. Á baðherberginu er handklæðaofn og baðkar í fullri stærð. Sjónvarp/DVD-spilari og ýmsar bækur og leikir eru í boði fyrir gesti. Matlock Bath-þorpið er í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð og þar er fjölskylduskemmtigarðurinn Gulliver's Kingdom, söfn og sædýrasafn. Aðalbærinn Matlock er í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð en þar er að finna verslanir og kaffihús. Hið virðulega heimili Chatsworth House og tilkomumiklir garðarnir þar eru í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð.

"The location was fantastic. The furniture was of good quality and clean. Downstairs toilet was very useful."
"The cottage was more basic than I expected. Kitchen crockery, utensils etc were very basic. Plates and bowls chipped. Frying pan was dirty most probably because the non stick coating was gone and you couldn't cook with it. The advertised patio furniture in cobbled area was actually in the car park, not at all private. A shower attachment on the bath would be useful although they supplied a jug as there is no shower."

"Location quiet, 10 minutes walk into the town center which had a variety of shops and nice park area to take a stroll, close to train station to go to Matlock Bath ect if wanted and large Sainsbury's next to train station or short drive away. There is a steep hill coming back to property, we didn't find it an issue, however, if less mobile some might find it a bit to steep. We had a lovely stay there and would recommend to friends if they are visiting area."
