Yes, the hotel is a bit far from the ferry and town, but the scenic drive and the beautiful hikes nearby more than make up for it. "Super stylish and comfortable guesthouse in a very quiet area of the island. We had the perfect room for our little family of 3. Our 1 year old daughter could even sleep in her own room (attached to ours). This will soon be an apartment or studio. We had dinner here every night and were never disappointed! A special note. The staff is really really helpful! And besides that we met lovely people , done nice hikes right out of the doorstep of the guesthouse."

"The house is very charming and private, with only six rooms, offering all the necessary services for a truly relaxing stay. The ocean view is absolutely spectacular! In just a few minutes, you can reach the village of Cruzinha and the beautiful coastal hiking trail. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the in-house dinner, the outdoor whirlpool and the massage services. Thank you for an excellent and unforgettable stay!"

"Only the fact it is too windy, it may depend of the time of the year, but the fact it is all open space, specially during the night when temperatures drop the wind can be quite uncomfortable specially during dinner as all communal areas are an open space."
