"I recently stayed at Angulo House and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—right by the beach and only a short walk to the heart of Santa Maria. My room on the first floor was spotless and comfortable.Great to have an amazing shower and a lovely balcony too. Jhonny went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The breakfast was good too..I'd definitely recommend it and would be happy to return here"

"We absolutely loved John who was always smiling, chatty & happy to serve us. Liza recommend some local restaurants which were all excellent. The dip pool was a plus, and the beds were so comfortable. Very well situated to visit the beach with 'free sunbeds'. Turn left outside the hotel and you will find the beach bar a short walk away on your right."

"I travelled with my elderly Mother and we had a wonderful time at Angulo House. The staff made sure we were well taken care of. The Hotel is right on the beach and the surrounding areas are beautiful. We will definitely came and stay again."

"There was no view in the superior double and two single beds pushed together when we had asked for a double. The safety deposit box did not work."

"The owner was absolutely amazing! There was some problem with the apartament I booked so she gave us other one which was the same type. She paid for the taxi and didn’t want any money because of this inconvenience even though everything was fine with the new apartament and also she paid for transport! "The apartment was amazing, very spacious and modern and with everything we needed and more. We loved the pool and playground for the kids and easy access to it, also there’s a supermarket just below. Very friendly and always helpful communication by the owner. 24/7 reception of building. Easy to walk to Laginha beach and into town. In the evening we took taxis back which are only a EUR2 flat rate in Mindelo, but this was mainly to the kids being too tired to walk after dinner. We’d love to come back anytime, thank you very much for everything."

"It was big. Well equipped if you wanted to cook. Nice big fridge and a small freezer, more than adequate. The door lock was great as it was coded, no keys to loose. The pool is big and clean and safe, enough loungers for the guests that were there, but it was very quiet so it may be an issue if the property was busier."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mister Barracuda in Santa Maria. The property is perfectly located right on the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Louis and the team were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The complimentary taxi service, provided both on arrival and departure, was a thoughtful touch that made our journey stress-free. Although we had been informed about ongoing construction at the front of the property, it did not impact our experience in any way. The atmosphere remained peaceful and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Mister Barracuda to anyone looking to stay in Santa Maria. We loved it!"
