"Friendly staff, beautiful location, very cozy and comfortable. Was perfect to come back and wind down after a busy day. We loved our tent (large bed with bathroom), definitely did not feel like you were camping. The pool was a great touch as well."

"The accommodation is real close to valle de la muerte. We got up early to see the sun rise! Really nice. Within half an hours walk you’re in the center of the village. The yurts are nice and cosy and the swimmingpool is nice to cool down"

"We wanted something a bit different and the yurt was just that! Very comfortable bed and a plus to have our own private bathroom. The pool was perfect to cool off after a day exploring and the kitchen was very well equipped which we used often to make our own lunches/dinners. We were obsessed with the on-site cat and the staff were lovely (and very patient with our limited Spanish knowledge!). Whilst a bit of a walk out of town (~30mins), it was excellent location for exploring the Pukará de Quitor and the Valle de Marte/Luna - also a plus as we could hire bikes on-site too."

"The only slight downside was that when we had a couple of tours booked (through TripAdvisor, not the accommodation) we were told we were outside the pick-up radius, so twice we had to walk into town in the dead of night. On the plus side, waking up at that time meant we saw the most amazing night sky and it wasn't that far (we also chose to walk but could have gotten a taxi). I am sure you will find tour companies that do pick up from here though, we just didn't look hard enough and don't mind walking! Saying this, I value the quiet location to the Valle de Marte/Luna and Pukará de Quitor over being more centrally located so it's a personal preference."

"Location is nice, a bit outside the city so you can see stars really well if you just step out 2min out of the campsite. Receptionist and staff were super friendly and helpful. Value for money was very good."

"We booked the tents (I think the yurts must have been fully booked on our dates so I don't think they even showed up in the website) thinking we booked yurts and there is absolutely no pictures of them in the listing, which is quite misleading... The main issue with the tent is that you cannot rest in them in the afternoon, it was 35+ degrees in them during the day so we weren't able to rest between excursions... Overall, we had a good stay but I would not recommend the tent for light sleepers as they are many dogs barking at night. (We slept ok) Breakfast was basic but decent."

"We stayed in a tent. This was in a better area, in our open, to the yurts! The beds were comfy. Facilities great. Completely different feel to being in San Pedro - where we had stayed previously."

"Great stargazing location, there’s a good viewpoint just 10mins from the camp. Friendly staff and the owner, we also used the pool to cool down after desert hike. Simple but sufficient breakfast."

"Really lovely site, something a little different out of town. The on site cat Astrogata is beautiful and friendly. The staff were really helpful and gave us a snack pack when we couldn’t make it to breakfast. Great place to see stars."
