Byggt á milli 1111 og 1131 og eitt sinn í eigu St. Paul-klaustrisins im Lavanttal, Schloss Gamlitz býður upp á rúmgóð herbergi í sveitastíl í einstöku sögulegu umhverfi. Í kringum kastalann er að finna marga veitingastaði og sveitagistikrár sem framreiða svæðisbundna matargerð. Frá apríl til nóvember er boðið upp á ókeypis leigubílaþjónustu til/frá samstarfsveitingastöðum daglega til klukkan 23:30. Margar útiheitur potturar og vötn eru í nokkurra mínútna fjarlægð. Schloss Gamlitz er tilvalinn staður fyrir gönguferðir og reiðhjólaferðir meðfram vínvegi Suður-Styríu og fyrir ferðir á golfvellina og varmaböðin á svæðinu.

"Our small house (press house) was perfect for our stay with our dog who does not climb stairs. We had our own terrace, huge garden in front, which was perfect. The breakfast was lovely, wide choice. The schloss garden is nice, sraff very friendly, parking on site, wine lovely, wine tasting place really modern. For us everything was perfect."
